Not everybody apologises for the things they've done. But that doesn't mean you should be writing your personal issues in a newspaper, no less.

Archer's a jerk, sure, but his heart is in the right place. He's just not good at expressing himself. [ Ugh, that's not the point. ]

From how I see things, you'll eventually start writing more articles filled with false accusations. I think I've had enough of that from you in one lifetime. And if you keep doing that, you'll make a lot of enemies.

You probably already have some, and your friends are just trying to control the problem from outside so that they don't get to you. [ Hint, hint. ]
